Chris Paul had the best line on opening night: 15 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and only 1 turnover.

The Indiana Pacers trumped the Orlando Magic as they opened up the season in Indiana.  Roy Hibbert grabbed an evening-high 16 rebounds and Paul George scored a game-high 24 points.

Chris Paul had a great night with 15 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds and 5 steals, but it was not enough to overcome an amazing outing for the Lakers’ reserves, five of whom scored in double-figures.  Xavier Henry (?) scored a game-high 22 points as the Lakers put down the Clippers in the battle for Los Angeles.

And finally, the defending champions opened up their season in Miami and spoiled the regular season return for Derrick Rose with a relatively easy win.  Rose scored a meager 12 points on 4-15 shooting.  LeBron James posted a solid all-around game with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists, and Carlos Boozer led all scorers last night with 31 points.

Line Of the Night goes to: Chris Paul.  Though a losing effort, his 11 assists with only one turnover is as impressive as his 5 steals (both evening highs), while his 6 boards and 15 points give him a good all-around game.
