The Suns got a 20/10 game from Markieff Morris (23 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assists, 1 steal) off the bench, but it was not enough to overcome the Spurs and a solid all-around game from Danny Green (19 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, 2 steals and 4 blocks).  Kevin Love (25 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 stelas, 1 block) outscored David Lee (22 points, 15 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals, 1 block), but needed almost 10 more shots to do it, and Lee had the last laugh as the Warriors downed the T-Wolves.  Klay Thompson went 6-9 from downtown to lead the Warriors with 30 points. Kyrie Irving dropped 29 points on the Bucks, but they Cavs still lost the game.  Anthony Davis had a good defensive showing (3 steals and 3 blocks) as the Pelicans handed the Grizzlies a loss.  Thankfully for both the Jazz and the Celtics, they played each other early in the

season, ensuring that at least one of the two teams would not go beyond the second week of the season without a win.  Boston came out on top, spoiling Gordon Haywood’s game-high 28 points.  The 76ers got solid games out of MCW (19 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 block), Evan Turner (24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 steal) and Spenser Hawes (23 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 2 blocks), but it was not enough as the Wizards exacted revenge on the Sixers for a loss then endured last week behind a big night from John Wall (24 points, 9 assists, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block) and Marcin Gortat (19 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block).  Vucevic was a beast last night as he posted the first 30/20 game of the season (Dwight who?), leading the Magic to a surprise win over the Clippers who got very strong performances from CP3 (18 points, 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals), BG (23 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block) and DAJ (19 rebounds, 9 points, 4 blocks and 1 steal.  The

Chris Paul had the best line on opening night: 15 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, 5 steals and only 1 turnover.

Chris Paul has been putting up MVP numbers every night this season.

Pacers remained undefeated with a win over the Bulls.  Toronto fell to the Bobcats.  And finally, the Thunder got double-double from both Serge Ibaka (17 points, 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 3 blocks) and Kevin Durant (23 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds and 2 steals) as they earned a win over the Mavericks.

Line of the Night goes to Nikola Vucevic though.  A lot of great games last night, but it takes a lot to top a 30/20 game.  Even though Vucevic didn’t fill up the rest of the statistical categories as well as some, his massive rebounding and scoring output was simply untouched last night.
