DeMar DeRozen posted 31 points, but the Raptors fell to the Hawks who got a 22 points and 16 rebounds out of Al Horford.  The Bucks got a big night out of Zaza Pachulia as they downed the Cetlics.  The defending champs lost their second in a row despite a great night From LeBron James.  Kemba Walker led the Bobcats over the Cavs.  Three Portland starters scored over 20 points and they beat the Denver Nuggets.  Brian Shaw is still without a win as a head coach.  Monta Ellis’s shooting percentage is back to where one might expect it.  After a great opening night, Ellis receded to shooting .368 from the floor.  James Harden scored an evening-high 34 points.  Pau Gasol posted his first 20/10 game of the season, but the rest of the Lakers squad was

lackluster as the Spurs earned a win in the Staples Center.  The Pistons fell to the Grizzlies in overtime, despite a strong performance from their starting front court (though Josh Smith’s FG% didn’t help matters).  The T-Wolves (my picked for most improved team) toppled the Thunder to improve to 2-0.  Only one started (Durant) record double figures for OKC.  Ricky Rubio handed out 10 assists and grabbed 5 steals with only 1 turnover and Kevin Love posted 24 points and 12 rebounds.  Anthony Davis put up franchise-player numbers last night: 26 points, 17 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough as the Pelicans lost to the Orlando Magic.  The Jazz got double-digit rebounding numbers from all three front-court starters last night, but the Suns came away with a win anyways.  The Clippers got 20/10 games from both Blake Griffin (20 points, 17 rebounds) and Chris Paul (26 points, 10 assists) en route to a win over the Sacramento Kings, spoiling an

excellent all-around game from DeMarcus Cousins and a great game off the bench from Isaiah Thomas.  And, finally, the 76ers earned a win over the Washington Wizards.  Michael Carter-Williams was not able to replicate his amazing debut, but put up decent numbers.  Thaddeus Young scored a game high 29 points.

Close race tonight for line-of-the-night, but I have to go with Anthony Davis.  He lead all rebounds and shot blockers, though his FG% was a little low.  Rubio gets an honourable mention.  Despite a low point totally, his 5 stelas is amazing, and the fact he posted a 10-1 assist-to-turnover ratio is amazing.  Haywood’s near triple-double was impressive too.
