Line of the Night: November 10th

Ricky Rubio recorded his first triple-double of the season; likely one of many this year for the talented point guard.

Without Tyson Chandler out due to injury, the Knicks had no answers for the Spurs on the defensive end, ultimately losing in a 31-point blowout.  The Knicks collectively only recorded a single block for the entire game.  The Spurs brought out their bench early, but Danny Green still managed to post 24 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block.  It took an overtime period to do it, but the Thunder earned a win over the Washington Wizards.  Bradly Beal scored a career-high, and a game-high, 34 points, but this was not enough to overcome a superb game from Kevin Durant (33 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block).  Ibaka recorded a 20/10 game for the Thunder in the win.  Anthony Davis had another strong game

Bradley Beal posted a career-high 34 points.

(14 points, 12 rebounds, 1 assists, 4 steals, 1 block), but it was not enough as the Pelican lost to the Suns who have improved to an impressive 5-2 to start the season.  Bledsoe scored a game high 24 points and Markieff Morris came off the bench to drop in 23 points.  And the T-Wolves visited the Lakers and earned a win behind a double-double form Pekovic (14 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal and 1 block), a 20/10 game from Kevin Love (25 points, 13 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal) and a triple-double from Ricky Rubio (12 points, 14 assists, 10 rebounds, and 5 steals).  The Lakers got 19 points from Steve Blake who shot an amazing 5/7 from behind the arc, and a double-double from Pau Gasol.

My pick for Line of the Night is Kevin Durant.  He had a monster night on the boards to go along with 33 points, and his six assists is not too shabby.  Ricky Rubio deserves some love, not just for posting a 3D game, but also for the 5 steals he hauled in.
