LeBron James because only the fifth player to score double-digits for 500 consecutive games, and he put a punctuation mark on the achievement by dropping 35 points and the Raptors while handing out 8 assists and grabbing 8 rebounds en route to a victory.  The Jazz remain winless four games into the season after a loss to the Nets.  Brook Lopez dropped 27 points on the Jazz, grabbed 7 rebounds and had 2 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.  Monta Ellis lead the Mavs over the Lakers with a 30-point performance.  Ellis also handed out 9 assists and going 11/14 from the field.  Utah is not the only winless team in the Northwest.  The Denver Nuggets also failed to secure their first win of the season with a loss against the Spurs.  George Karl is starting to look like quite a coach in hindsight.  Rou Hibbert recorded a season high 7 blocks last night, and Paul George led the Pacers with 31 points and they earned a win over the Detroit Pistons.  Eric Bledsoe (25 points, 5 assists, 4 rebounds, 3 steals) had another strong all-around game as he lead the Suns to their third win of the season while handing the Pelicans their third loss.  Anthony Davis (17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks) recorded a double-double for the Pelicans.  The struggles of the Knicks continued last night as they lost to the Charlotte Bobcats.  Melo scored a game high 32 points, while Walker lead the Bobcats with 25 points and chipped in

6 assists, 5 rebounds and a steal.  The Rockets got huge nights from both James Harden (33 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks) and Dwight Howard (29 points, 13 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block) as they bounced back from a loss to the Clippers with a convincing win over the Trailblazers.  And the Hawks got double-doubles from Al Horford (27 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals and 2 blocks), Paul Milsap (25 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, 1 block) and Jeff Teague (18 points, 10 assists, 3 rebounds, and 1 steal) as they defeated the Sacramento Kings.

Monta Ellis is as eager as ever to jack up shots. Last night it paid off as he shot .786 from the floor.

My vote for Line of the night goes to LBJ.  Not only did he join a rare club, but he had an amazing all-around game.  Ellis’s shooting percentage was jaw-dropping though, and Milsap and Hordford put up double-double with solid defensive stats.
