Steve Nash returned to the line-up for the Lakers last night, posting a team-high 9 assists, but with Pau Gasol out with injury, the Timberwolves were able to top the Lakers: 109-99.  Kevin Martin scored an evening-high 32 points, Kevin Love led all rebounders with 17 boards and Ricky Rubio led the way for all play-makers last night with 13 assists.  The Charlotte Bobcats official exceeded their entire win total for last season with their 22nd win of the year with a victory over the Golden State Warriors.  Al Jefferson posted a game-high 30 points and a team-high 13 rebounds.  David West posted a 20/10 game for the Pacers, leading them to a win over the Hawks.  The Pacers managed to hold all of the Hawks’ starters to single digits.  And finally, Goran Dragic scored a game-high 24 points, but was unable to lead the Suns past the Bulls.  Joakim Noah and Carlos Boozer both contributed double-doubles to the effort.

Martin (right), Love (center), and Rubio posted evening-highs in points, rebounds and assists respectively.

Some solid performances last night, with a 20/10 game from David West, a 30/10 game from Al Jefferson and an evening-high 32 points from Kevin Martin.  My pick for Line of the Night goes to Martin’s teammate Kevin Love.  He managed to not only outscore Jefferson, despite taking fewer shots, but also out rebounded Jefferson.  With an evening-high in rebounds, and the second highest point total, it seems that Love is the obvious choice here.
