Isaiah Thomas posted a career-high 38 points to lead all scorers last night, but the Kings ultimately fell to the Thunder who were led by Kevin Durant’s 30 points.  Arron Affalo scored a team-high 20 points to help the Orlando Magic end their league-leading losing streak by defeating the Boston Celtics.  Channing Frye scored a game-high 30 points to lead he Suns past the Nuggets.  Ty Lawson handed out 14 assist to lead all play makers last night.  Gregg Popvich didn’t even leave any of his starters on the floor for 28 minutes as the Spurs handily defeated the Bucks, and the Lakers beat the surging Raptors: 112-106.  DeMar DeRozen scored a game-high 23 points but needed 24 shots to do it.

MVP candidate Kevin Durant continues to make his case for the MVP award with another stellar all-around game.

Isaiah Thomas’s career-high is impressive, no doubt, but Kevin Durant’s all-around game easily trumps Thomas.  Durant posted 3 more assists, and grabbed 5 more rebounds, which more than makes up for the 8 point differential.  When you consider the fact that Durant had a higher FG% and that Thomas didn’t record any defensive stats while Durant posted 4 steals and 2 blocks, it becomes pretty clear that Durant is the obvious choice for Line of the Night.
