LaMarcus Aldridge continues to post MVP numbers as his 30/10 game led the Portland Trailblazers past the Dallas Maverics.  In the absence of Dwyane Wade, LeBron James went off for a game-high 34 points to lead the Heat past the Bobcats.  Joakim Noah posted game highs in rebounds, blocks and point to lead the Bulls past the 76ers.  John Henson came off the bench to post a 20/15 game, but it was not enough as the Bucks fell to the Rockets who were led by Terrence Jones and his evening-high 36 points.  Paul George matched Terrence Jones’s evening-high 36 points as he led the Pacers past the short-handed Clippers who are still playing without all-star point guard Chris Paul.  Lance Stephenson was 3 assists, shy of a triple-double and DeAndre Jordan posted an evening-high 17 rebounds.  The Timberwolves got double-doubles from Nikola Pekovic and Kevin Love as they snapped their three-game losing streak at the expense of the Utah Jazz.  The Golden State Warriors bounced back from a heartbreaking loss to hand the Pelican their 8th straight loss.  Anthony Davis posted game highs in points and rebounds in the loss with 31 and 17 respectively.  And finally, the Detroit Pistons spoiled the Wizards’ ascension to .500 by handing them a loss on their own home court.  John Wall posted a game-high 34 points, while Greg Monroe and Andre Drummond both posted double-doubles for Detroit.

MVP candidate posted another 30/10 game as the Trailblazers beat the Mavericks.

There are a few solid picks tonight.  Paul George’s performances was both stellar and entertaining, especially his 360 dunk on the fast break.  Anthony Davis was the only player last night to post 30+ points and haul down an evening-high 17 rebounds, while MVP candidate LaMarcus Aldridge posted an impressive 30/10 game with nice defensive stats.  I’m going with the Rockets Terrence Jones.  He posted an evening-high 36 points with an impressive field goal percentage and was able to pull down 11 boards while contributing on the defensive end with 2 blocks and 1 steal.
