Antawn Jamison, who made the All-Star team as a member of the Washington Wizards, has signed with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Antawn Jamison is changing locker rooms, but he is not changing buildings.  Jamison has signed on with the Los Angeles Clippers after having played last season with the Los Angeles Lakers.  Jamison, who had signed on with the Lakers with the hope of playing for a ring along with five potential future Hall of Fame players (Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Pau Gasol, Dwight Howard and Metta World Peace), saw great disappointment last season as he quickly fell out of favour with head coach Mike ‘Antoni.  His minutes were inconsistent to say the least, as was his role on offense.  The talented forward and former All-Star will bolster the Clippers bench and give them a solid offensive option at the forward position.  Playing with a pass-first point guard like Chris Paul and a team orientate coach like Doc Rivers should greatly improve Jamison’s shot at winning a title.

Jamison shared his thoughts on this past season, a season that was a great disappointment to many Lakers fans.  He respectfully noted ‘Antoni had communication issues with the team despite being one of the best offensive minded coaches in the league (Jamison’s omission of ‘Antoni’s effectiveness on defense was duly noted), and Jamison went onto say to expect Kobe to return to full form.
